Planning a home office

Choosing a desk in three steps

Measure the room, decide what storage you need, then check the height.

  1. Measure the room

Our desks are 84 cm to 1.2 m wide and 40 to 73 cm deep. A 1.2 m desk gives room for two screens; under 1 m suits a bedroom corner.

  2. Decide on storage

Choose a desk with a hutch, ladder shelves or a bookcase if you need storage on the desk. A drawer keeps small things out of sight. A simple frame keeps it light.

  3. Check the height

Our simple desks are 70 to 76 cm tall, a standard working height. Models with a hutch or shelves stand up to 1.49 m tall, so check the wall above.

What size desk do I need for a home office?

For a laptop, 84 cm to 1 m wide is enough. For a monitor plus a laptop, or two screens, go for 1.2 m.

Do you have a foldable desk?

Yes. Our foldable computer desk has an oak-look top on a steel frame and folds away when you are not using it.

What are your desks made of?

All our desks have a steel frame with an MDF top in an oak or brown finish.

How much weight can a desk hold?

Each product page lists its rating. Most of our desks are rated for 100 to 120 kg.
