Cutting Boards & Prep

Cutting Boards & Prep — Better Prep Surfaces for Australian Kitchens

A quality cutting board is the most-used surface in any kitchen. Bamboo and hardwood boards are gentler on knife edges than plastic, naturally antimicrobial, and far more attractive on the benchtop.

What's in This Collection

Bamboo Chopping Boards

The everyday workhorse — light, durable, and gentle on knife edges, ideal for daily vegetable and general prep.

Over-Sink Boards

Fitted with draining slots and sized to sit across the sink, giving you extra bench space exactly where you need it during meal prep.

Carving Boards

Built with juice grooves around the edge specifically for meat, so resting roasts don't run juice across the benchtop.

Compact Boards

Sized for small Australian kitchens or quick jobs where a full-size board is unnecessary.

Why Bamboo Over Plastic

• Naturally antimicrobial, unlike plastic which can harbour bacteria in knife grooves over time.
• Gentler on knife edges, helping blades stay sharper for longer.
• Far more durable — a quality bamboo board will outlast several plastic ones.

At CARLA HOME, our cutting boards and prep range is durable, food-safe, and beautiful — pair with prep bowls and knife holders for a complete prep zone that's organised and efficient.
