Laptop Desks & Bed Trays

Laptop Desks & Bed Trays — Work Comfortably Anywhere in Your Home

Not all work happens at a desk. A quality laptop desk or bed tray lets you work, study, or browse from the sofa, bed, or garden without sacrificing comfort or posture.

What to Look For

Adjustable Height

Lets you use the same desk sitting up in bed, cross-legged on the floor, or reclined on the sofa — a fixed-height tray only really works in one position.

Ventilation Slots

Allow airflow under the laptop so it doesn't overheat during longer sessions — a genuine functional feature, not just a design detail.

A Stable, Non-Slip Base

The difference between a desk that stays put on a doona and one that slides every time you shift position.

Choosing Between a Laptop Desk and a Bed Tray

• Laptop desk — usually larger, with more surface area for a mouse, notebook, or second device.
• Bed tray — more compact, often includes small compartments, better suited to eating or lighter tasks.
• Adjustable folding desks — the most flexible option, working equally well in bed, on the sofa, or on the floor.

At CARLA HOME, our laptop desks and bed trays are designed for Australian remote workers, students, and families who want the flexibility to work or study anywhere in the home — bamboo, MDF, and combination options to suit every preference and budget.
